34 weeks pregnant. I’ve been walking 2 miles every day, doing prenatal yoga once/week, and biking every now and then. This is the only time in my life where I’ve been active yet have woken up 2lbs heavier. My little angel had a major growth spurt from last Dr.s appt. to today’s. I don’t let them weigh me. I weight myself in the morning, naked before I have a glass of water. Then I go in to my late afternoon appointment and tell them what my morning weight was. They don’t care as long as the measurement is consistent, and I am happy not to use their scale after I’ve eaten 12 meals.
This morning; the morning I turned 34 weeks pregnant, my shirts that I’ve been wearing daily no longer fit. Happy 34 weeks to me! They ride up my belly. It’s kinda cute. I noticed during the dog’s mornign walk on the beach that my belly was flashing everyone. I could kind of feel it coming, and had bought a few new clothes last week. 2 are dresses, as I figured the entertainment of getting into my shorts will only last so long.
I’ve been a member of www.onemodelplace.com for a few years and it’s a great way for (free) pictures by photographers. It connects models with photographers and typically instead of getting paid for a modeling gig, you just get a CD of all the pictures WHICH IS AWESOME! I updated my profile to indicate I’m heavy with child and several local photographers jumped at the chance to do some nice belly shots. I’ve got 5 shoots scheduled and I’m really excited about working with these guys in the upcoming weeks. OMP is completely free and some of the best pictures anyone has ever taken of me is because of this site. And it’s free. And waaaay better than Sears portrait studio or some other franchised crap. The photographer gets experience working with different models in different settings and brainstorming different ideas for shots, and the model gets her portfolio built or just some great pics to share with friends and family. I’ve been on this site for years and I have worked with nearly a dozen photographers. I absolutely loved my experiences. The actual website is a bit challenging to navigate, but for free I don’t complain too much, if at all, ever.
Oh what? That website is so cool! I’m going to have to check it out for some mama & baby pics!
You’re doing a much better job than I did with prenatal fitness! I loved fish sticks.
