I’m engaged. It’s official. He proposed this evening.
The ex and I got back together a couple weeks ago. We had separated for nearly 2 months and he used that time to fix all the crap that I refused to put up with. He got the restraining order against his psycho ex and she’s completely out of the picture & not causing trouble anymore. He stopped lying and has become completely open and honest. He got a good job and re-discovered his ambitions. Basically, he grew up. The new him is awesome. Things have been going exceptionally well, clearly, because we’re engaged!
We’re planning a trip to bicycle the Danube River in June, starting in Passau, Germany and ending in Vienna, Austria. We’re talking about spending several days in Vienna and getting hitched there.

Congratulations!!! I’m happy to hear the great news! A trip to Germany/Austria sounds like a lot of fun, it’s a beautiful area! Just make sure you look into the marriage requirements first… It might not be that easy to get married there as it is in the US. (At least in Germany it is a lot more buerocratic)
